I've been hit with a vicious malware called Live Security Platinum. It hit me Saturday night when I was looking up some embroidery stitch instructions. Actually I think that is pretty innocent so I don't know where in the world it came from..I can't get rid of it so today my desktop pc will be going to the "doctor". It is so maddening since I just spent $120+ a couple of weeks ago on the desktop getting it cleaned up..It is amazing how dependent a person becomes on a machine, I feel like one of my appendages is missing. Kind of ridiculous really. Has anyone else been hit with this virus?? Malware?? I wonder how people get a kick out of doing these vicious things so innocent people have to put up with them? Very, very nasty!!! Sew until next time, have a "virus" free day!!!

Vintage Thingies Thursday's
I am linking up with The Colorado Lady's Vintage Thursday's today and I am showing the old cast iron car that I have had for many years. It was in my grandmother's house forever and I think it was probably a car that my uncle played with when he was young. He was born in 1915 so it fits the era, don't you think?? I took the picture in the seat of my chair so you can tell it's not very big, about 7" long and 3 1/2" tall. Just one of my little treasure's from Gramma's house. Sew until next time, have a Stitches kind of day!!!

Tuesday Treasure
This very thin 3 sided teacup was given to me by a friend when she moved out of state. It's so unique and I really treasure it. I hope you like it too!!! I'm linked up to The House on the Side of the Hill today. You should check out the other Tuesday Treasure's.

A Painting Dilemma
Ok, here's my dilemma..I can't decide how to paint the peak. What color(s)? What pattern? And etc.
It's been repaired for several months and now I am waiting for the painter. He called at 7:15 am this morning and said he would be here in a couple of hours. It is now 1:15 pm and he hasn't come yet..(twiddling my thumbs X 2) One of my pet peeves is waiting for people, just not something that I like to do.
The rest of the house has new siding and shutters, compliments of the hail storm that we had in March 2011. The siding is called Coastal Sage and the shutters are Vintage Wicker..as you can see it's an older home under repair.....Sew until next time, stay tuned for further updates..

I have entered my 9-11 wallhanging on the Quilting Gallery for this week. I just checked the QG and there are some awesome quilts shown. If you would consider mine worthy, I would really appreciate your vote. I wrote a blog entry about it last September if you want to read it. You can vote for 5 quilts this week but you don't have to..you can just vote for mine, if you want... :-) Thanks for your participation whatever you decide to do...Sew until next time, have a Stitches kind of day..
