Yippee!!! I won these really good scissors from a Pam Buda giveaway a couple of weeks ago. They came in the mail yesterday and I was thrilled to see that they are the Medium size of Karen Kay Buckley's "Perfect Scissors"..I really like KKB scissors, they have a micro serrated edge on the blades, that really hug the fabric and best of all, are the nice big handles...you should try a pair!!! .Heartspun Quilts is Pam Buda's company..she designs quilts and also designs fabric's for Marcus Fabrics..I really like her style of quilts and fabrics, sort of "folksy" and that's my favorite style also. Check out her website and see if you don't like her too!!! Thanks again, Pam...Sew until next time, I hope you have a Stitches kind of day...........

Sochi Olympic Mug Rug Exchange
I participated in the 2014 Sochi Olympic Mug Rug exchange with Lizzie, from Key Largo, Florida..While I was shivering in below normal temperatures here in Iowa, she was basking in lovely warm temps in Florida so our mug rugs are now experiencing new environments in their new homes. These are the lovely mug rugs that came to live at my house yesterday, sent to me by Lizzie..and she included a package of Key Lime Coconut Bars!! The mug rugs are very nice and I like them a lot and the bars are very tasty too!!
Here are the Mug Rugs that I made for Lizzie.(above) I included a beaded string bookmark, some micro brushes and a few little quilt labels I hope she gets them okay, I haven't heard from her yet...keeping my fingers crossed though. Sew until next time, I hope you have a Stitches kind of day............
